There are four (4) types of payment channels:
- Auto Debit from Bank Account.
- Online banking.
- JomPAY payment.
- PayQuik kiosk.
- JomPAY Biller Code: 16667.
- Ref 1: JomPAY Case ID (customer’s unique identification number).
- Ref 2: MyKad number.
This is to verify your payment in the system based and your account number.
- New loan: The first (1st) payment needs to be paid manually (refer to “How do I make payment to JCL?” above). For all subsequent payments, they will be deducted via auto-debit once approved by the bank.
- Existing loan: The auto-debit is not successful due to insufficient funds in the account.
The auto-debit is in place to ensure that you do not missed repayment. If your manual payment fails, your account will be listed for auto-debit transactions. If your initial auto-debit fails, there will be another attempt to debit the payment after four (4) to five (5) working days.

Upon receipt of the email, we will forward the full/early settlement form to you. This form functions as a one (1) month’s written notice to us. We will advise you on the amount to be settled, upon receiving the said form via email.

The minimum down payment for an HP is 10% of the cash price.

You will have to go to a JCL branch to sign a direct debit registration form.
Application
For employees, we will need:
- A copy of identity card (IC).
- Latest 3 months of salary slips.
- Latest 3 months of bank statements.
- Latest utility bill (water or electricity).
We will need at least three to five (3 – 5) working days to process your application. This is subject to receiving complete documents, as we will need to call your office and emergency contact person for verification purposes.
*Processing time may be longer, depending on the verification process.
You can apply for a top-up after completing three (3) payments of RM2,000 or less, and six (6) payments of RM2,500 or more. All payments must be prompt.
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens, aged between 18 and 60, have been working for at least three (3) months with their current employer and a minimum basic salary of RM 1,000.00.
JCL will send an SMS to your registered mobile phone number regarding your unsuccessful application.

You may pay your installment within seven (7) working days before the due date. However, JCL will still require you to set an account for direct debit just in case you forget to make your payment manually.

- Ref 1: Your JomPAY case ID number which JCL has provided you during agreement signing.

Agreement Signing
You will receive the fund in your bank account within three (3) working days after signing the agreement.
Currently, we are unable to change the due date of payment.
No payment of deposit or lawyer fee is needed. However, if your loan is approved, you will need to pay the LHDN (0.5% from loan disburse amount + RM 10 copy) and Commissioner for Oaths fees (RM 15 – RM 20) by cash when you come in for the agreement signing.
Others
No, JCL does not have any agents as it is prohibited by the Moneylenders Act 1951 of Malaysia.
