#Long Service #Leadership Journey
Q1. What motivated you to stay with the company for over three years?
I chose to stay with the company for over three years because it consistently provided me with opportunities to grow both professionally and personally through challenging projects, leadership development, and a culture that encourages continuous learning.
As a growing organization, the company gave me the opportunity to be involved in many challenging projects that required my knowledge, strengths, and skills especially within the credit recovery department. At the same time, I was able to enhance my capabilities by acquiring new knowledge and developing additional skills in management.
Japanese culture places a strong emphasis on recognizing great leadership through performance, and it provides meaningful rewards that not only motivate but also continue to inspire individuals to strive for excellence.

Q2. How has the company changed since you first joined?
Since I first joined the company, there have been significant and positive changes. The team has grown with an increase in staff, and we’ve moved into a new, larger office space that better supports our operations. The company has also improved its remuneration package and introduced many new benefits, such as access to a gym with a personal trainer, annual medical check-ups, and a refreshed dress code policy. Salaries have been adjusted to align with current market rates, and there’s a stronger emphasis on valuing employee feedback through engagement surveys. Additionally, the company has made efforts to honour and recognize staff contributions through rewards, certificates, and other forms of appreciation.
Q3. Can you share a moment when you felt especially proud to be part of this team?
I’ve felt proud to be part of this team many times, but the moment that stands out most was in 2023 and then again in 2025, when I was selected to represent the company at the Annual General Meeting in Tokyo, Japan. It was a truly meaningful experience not just because of the honour of being chosen, but also because it reflected the company’s recognition of my contributions. I feel deeply valued and inspired when given such opportunity. It was a proud and emotional moment that reinforced my commitment to the organization.

Q4. What personal or professional growth have you experienced here?
I was promoted to Senior Manager, which was a significant milestone in my career. I’ve led challenging projects in the credit recovery department, enhancing my leadership, strategic plus tactical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Personally, one of my proudest achievements was completing my MBA with Putra Business School, made possible through the company’s scholarship program. This not only deepened my knowledge but also reinforced the company’s commitment to employee development. These experiences have shaped me into a more confident, capable, and well-rounded professional.
Q5. What advice would you give to someone just starting out at the company?
My advice to someone just starting out at the company is to understand that your performance, attitude, and behaviour are truly valued here. Use this opportunity to shine and strive to be the best among the best, because the company recognizes and rewards excellence. Stay committed to continuous professional development, take initiative, and embrace every challenge as a chance to grow and elevate yourself to the next level.
